NB: This Early Bird ticket offer has now finished but there is still the option via Ticketline to pay a £50 deposit on your ticket (£25 for Age 13 to 15 Child Tickets) with the balance due by February 14th 2009. Or buy your ticket(s) at the full price of £130.

Highlights of this year’s festival included headline spots from living legend Chuck Berry who rocked a capacity crowd, The Flaming Lips who put on one of the most mind-blowingly dazzling shows ever witnessed at a festival and a heart melting closing set from Kate Nash, as well as top turns from Dorset’s finest Billy Bragg, Scrumpy & Western superstars The Wurzels, Indie darlings Black Kids, turntable terrorist DJ Yoda, rock n roll sensations Kitty Daisy & Lewis, the impossibly talented Beardyman and the ever hilarious Cuban Brothers.

The Kids Field was filled with thousands of children (and as many adults) all indulging in myriad magical activities that included The Insect Circus, hat making, van painting, whacky toys and a crazy Kids Disco. The Mad Hatters Tea Party was brimming with festival-goers dressed to the nines, the jousting certainly hit the spot and of course, the Bestival Bluecoats were on hand 24 hours a day looking after the crowd’s every need. There was merriment and mirth to be found in every corner of the site topped off by amazing spoken word and comedy sets from the likes of Howard Marks who treated the tots to bed-time stories on Saturday night, Andrew Maxwell’s Full Mooners and what can only be described as a majestic turn from Roy Walker who brought Catchphrase to a gleefully delighted crowd.

Camp Bestival Early Bird Tickets cost £120 per adult plus booking fee or you can put down a £50 deposit and pay the balance by February 14th 2009, so the tickets could make a touching Valentine treat.  So, if you had the time of your life this year and want to make sure you’re there for another helping or, if you missed out on what was a wondrous weekend and want to make sure that doesn’t happen again you need to get in there fast to snap up the limited number of tickets available. In 2009 they’ll be even more marvels and merriment brought to you by the team behind Bestival plus bigger and better campsites, incomparable family facilities and more car parks to make everyone’s experience even better.
