Come Saturday evening time, the Come Dancing Spiegeltent will be transformed for a couple of hours into Karaoke land... with a twist! We're talking Folkaoke and Karauke (Ukulele Karaoke)!!!

Folkaoke
A twisted fusion of Bluegrass, 80's power ballads and your favourite local village band at your 3rd cousins' wedding. Take the stage and become the lead singer in a hillbilly covers band performing singalong classics from Huey Lewis to the Stone Roses, Beyonce to Bryan Adams. Party hick stlye with backing singers, dancing girls and a full live band to back you and your mates up. It's an anarchic camp fire sing-along gone wrong-along!

Karauke
You sing, they play Ukuleles! Ever fancied singing 'I Will Survive' disco style with an entire backing (BIG) band of fine-tuned ukuleles? Well, here's your chance! The Karauke Ukulele band will play a variety of songs - everything from The Cure to Bon Jovi - live for you to sing along to. They provide the words, the music and the backing vocals (should you need them) - you provide the lung power. They will also be doing a few full audience sing-along sessions where the audience gets a choice of 3 songs and has to clap for the one they want they want to sing. The special Clap-O-Meter will register the results and off they (& you) will go! www.karauke.net
